Thomas and Friends
Thomas is a blue tank engine, and he’s more than happy to go along his merry way along the train tracks. Often, he gets into situations with his friends and has to find his way out of them with the help of his buddies. Thomas’s friends include other trains like Edward, James, Henry and Emily as well as non-train vehicles like Reg the crane and Skiff the little boat. Thomas and his friends are found in the books by the Reverend W. Awdry and have been turned into several animated works with strong moral lessons.
Angelina is a little cartoon mouse that just loves dancing. She lives in the fictional town of Chipping Cheddar and is doing her best to realise her dream of becoming a great ballerina. In the process, she learns many life lessons from the other characters she meets. Often, she learns the importance of hard work and selflessness, with help from her mum and friends of course.
Barney and Friends
Barney is a purple Tyrannosaurus Rex that is anything but dangerous. In fact, he’s probably the friendliest dinosaur anyone will ever meet. With the help of his sidekicks Baby Bop and B.J., he teaches reading, arithmetic and more through songs and skits. Everyone knows the classic Barney song “I love you, you love, we’re a happy family.” Singing it will surely make anyone feel better.
Bob the Builder
Bob the Builder’s catchphrase “Can we fix it? Yes, we can” has become an encouraging anthem for many children. This handyman fixes all sorts of problems around town with the assistance of his trusty band of construction vehicle like Scoop the backhoe loader, Lofty the mobile crane, Roley the road roller and Muck the bulldozer. There’s also Wendy, Bob’s girlfriend and Mr Bentley the mayor.
Little Pingu is a penguin in the North Pole and loves going on adventures, both indoors and outdoors. Pingu communicates in Pingunese, a special language that the Penguins speak. He can often be seen getting into mischief with his friend Robby the seal and his little sister Pinga.
